On return from the IMPACT 10 print biennale in Santander 2018 I made a digital drawing of a scene from a lunchtime exhibition opening of one of the printmakers reading the catalogue. I had met her in front of her cityscape works and discussed her approach. As I entered the exhibition I noticed her and the all women visitors. I sent ‘Turksezin’ the drawing in June 2019 which she thanked me for. In November 2020 as I surfed instagram her post of the drawing appeared with a public Thankyou and likes from many of her followers.
She also kindly sent a copy of her recent exhibition catalogue to read and see her ongoing printmaking.
