When I spend time in the Scottish Borders I am always drawn to the animals who inhabit the fields across the lowland terrains. From time to time I am able to get up close and begin drawings. It has been commented that the resultant drawings and prints are ‘portraits’ of the animals personalities. They certainly feature each animal’s face have a quality that recognises their being.
