Inspired to return to the ipad by Portraits Untold.

Portraits Untold is a programme of portrait work by Tanya Raabe-Webber that began in Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery this July.  Tanya painted Artist and Filmaker John Akomfrah OBE and invited audience members to contribute their own images. Having known John for many years from our film and video workshop days in the eighties (!) I was very happy to spend the day drawing him. Portraits Untold will hold a day at the NPG before returning to the Midlands in September, when I hope to participate, and on to York in the Autumn. I’ve continued to experiment with digital drawing when I am not able to draw for large scale prints testing different tools and techniques.
