Gallery 2. A&L share their beautiful Champions book: “Champions – To Benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation”. Nick shows his prints. Laura assists A&L expose their next gravure and Jo develops her new plate in the darkroom. A new student inks up her bike tyre for monoprinting.
Gallery 3. It’s time for gold on black. Annie has been inspired by A&L’s gravure images and Laura assists her prepare the digital file for plate printing. Jonnie has brought in a ‘super resolution’ smart phone photograph to test the output with Laura. Shalet tries out a relief pink lace print on black. A&L complete their edition of three gold on black prints from the ponds. Caitlin and Martha embark on silk screen and stone litho prints. Jo’s plate is drying for next print session.
