Following an impromptu meeting with the legend that is Richard Demarco I made a portrait to celebrate him and his contribution to contemporary art over the last 70 years. These included playing a founding part in establishing the Edinburgh Festival. The Demarco archive documents the history and is currently held in Summerhall. The portrait was send to Richard and he responded immediately with the letter below.
