With lots of talk about the power of Artificial Intelligence and the ability to edit images I embarked on small experiment using a recent photograph I had made from a scene in a lake in Winterbourne gardens. I had experimented with the image taken on a google pixel phone. I had applied the super resolution setting in photoshop (probs an Ai setting itself) and printed out a large scale photograph (A1). It reminded me of Japanese water images and trees images.

Run out of trial time!
Quite a revealing experiment. Very much a rendered interpretation of an image in my mind from the original visual experience and first photographic image capture. Much more graphic than I would heave intended but an interpretation none the less. Japanese woodcutters interpreted the lake and trees of their landscapes with material tools. AI assists a human interpret, but uses electronic languages not physical tools and activity.
